[October 5, 2023] Today, adiCET is under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Surachai Narrat Jansri , Vice Dean, along with Dr. Sakollawat Sawetrattanakul and Dr. Thananchai. The adiCET research team’s focal point engaged in a meeting to explore models for managing solid waste in the community. This meeting focused on research within the Kuet Chang Subdistrict area and involved discussions with environmental inspectors from PET Ratchaburi Electricity Company Limited regarding their operations and research findings. The main objective was to assess the sustainability of waste management, from its source to its ultimate destination, with the aim of developing a “Smart Bin.” This initiative is supported by Ms. Jiraphan Chanhom. Additionally, the Subdistrict Administrative Organization’s tradition and control plan were presented by Goodel, along with spatial components. Demonstrations were conducted to showcase the pelletization of plastic waste for distribution, employing a control system involving vinegar. These activities took place at the Chaloem Phrakiat Building, Kuet Chang Subdistrict Resource Conservation Center, Village No. 2, Kuet Chang Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.
